Today I decided to pick a card from the Messages from the Fairies deck and the card I picked is Dietary Change.  The message for someone reading this is….you may be experiencing some energetic blocks due to what you are eating and drinking.  Have you been having a hard time sleeping?  A hard time concentrating?  Headaches or achy in other parts of your body?  Have you been short-tempered?

First off…..if you drink coffee…..try lowering your intake by just drinking it in the morning and not in the afternoon.  Instead, try drinking fresh fruit or vegetable juice in the afternoon for energy….also try a fresh fruit or veggie smoothie.  Tea is also a good alternative.  What’s most important is that you drink plenty of water….especially if you are consuming a lot of caffeine.  The water will help flush out your system and will ease the stress on your stomach.

I am also seeing there needs to be more variety in your diet… may be eating more healthy….but are you eating the same things over and over?   This is a reminder to mix it up….try new things.  Make sure you are including plenty of fruits and veggies……and try different colors than what you are used to eating.

It might be a good idea to watch your sugar intake at this time…..cut back on all the sweets.  Another option is to eat healthier sweets rather than processed sweets…..if you are going to satisfy your sweet tooth….go for the highest quality chocolates….organic ingredients…..all natural and not processed.  Look for sweets including molasses, unrefined sugars, brown rice syrup, stevia, agave, maple, and honey.  Avoid sweets that include corn syrup and also avoid artificial sweeteners….you are better off eating sugar in the raw rather than the fake stuff (sweet & low, splenda, a nutrasweet).

You don’t have to deprive yourself…..rather….make room for healthier options in your diet.  The more fruits and veggies you eat the less hungry you will be and your cravings will decrease because your body is receiving the nutrients it needs…..helping you to stay satisfied.

If you take these minor steps to revise your diet… will see your sleep patterns and energy levels improve along with your mood as well as your intuition.
